Choices

Today is a new day, today is the day that the Lord has made. He made this day and in it is a gift wrapped up in the present for us.

It is easy to focus on the past on the negative, but God is with us and He has walked before us today. He continues to help us, don't be afraid to ask Him to change your attitude. If we think about our attitude for a moment. Look at how you felt when you got up this morning, what were your thoughts, did you dread today? Common feelings, but know what happens when we allow God to show us a better way, we change our perspective, we see that yes it is another day, but today is a day that God is going to work. We look at today not through our eyes, but through His eyes. We change the very thought of this is going to be a bad day, to this is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. It is His day, He gave you another day to live here on earth, to do His work. What a beautiful wonderful chance we have to honor Him in having a good day. Not allowing the world to pull us down, not allowing our day to get so busy that we forget to say thank you Lord for life, thank you Lord for the sun or even the rain, because we have another day to be here. What an honor it is to live, even the hard times, because we learn we grow and we change.

I am honored to share this with you today. Today is a new day, what kind of attitude will you have today? Allow God to work in the thought of having a bad one and allow Him to show you how to change it. Attitude is a choice, what choice will you make today.

A Reminder

I continue to be reminded that each day is a new day. God has granted us another day to live, to learn, to grow and it is up to us what we do with that day. Will we waste it on thoughts that we are not worth what He continues to pour out on us or will we except the love He gives us, will we take hold and allow Him to work in our lives. It is a choice and the only person that can make that choice is you. He will keep reminding you, because He loves you so much. He hand picked you, He formed you in your mothers womb, He chose you to walk with Him and talk with Him, what better way to show Him how thankful you are, then to allow Him to make the changes in you.

If we try and do it on our own we will surely fail. I am reminded that the arm of flesh fails, but God is the only one that can provide the best way, it may not be the only way, but know what He knows more then we do. He is with us and knows us, He knows where we struggle and He wants to work in each of those areas. Allow God to work, ask Him to show you, ask Him to help you and thank Him for what He is going to do and what He continues to do.

My prayer today:
Thank you Lord for giving me the words to speak to each person, thank you for loving me, for creating me, for picking me to walk with you, thank you for the choices I have and thank you for allowing me to allow you to work. Thank you for the grace you have given, thank you for loving me so much you sent your son, let me not take that forgranted. Help me to remember more of YOU and much less of me. Help me to surrender even the hardest area's to you, even when I am afraid, but I want to trust you completely and until I surrender all I am not fully trusting you. Thank you for the strength you give me to except this, to love more fully and to love as you continue to call me to love, to show my love the right way each step of the day. Thank you Lord for all you do in my life. In Your Great and Holy name I pray, Amen.

I write this prayer not to share my prayers, but because it can be a prayer you pray too. Not because of me, but because of God. He is the only way.
