In order to truly lose weight, one must change the way they eat. In order to change, one must change they way they live.
My life as crazy as it has been has really shown me so much more then some. But it isn't about me, it is about the changes I have made, but about what God has done in me. He is greater then what people think. We can't fathom Him. I put God in a box, I said He could only do this and this for me. I tried to control what the out come of my life was based on believing, but it isn't about what I want, it is about what He wants for me.
I have found that it is through surrender that He has made away for me. Yes, the waiting process was long, but what He showed me during the time was it has to be about Him. It can't be about what I want, it can't be about what I think is right, it has to be about Him. It was painful, but the pain brings forth something much greater, because through pain comes healing and when I realized it wasn't the healing I thought, but what He saw fit to do in me.
Our lives are filled with pain from the past, from the pain we have caused others or others have caused us, but in order to find true Joy, true Peace we have to be willing to go through the purification process.
I do not know where this road will lead me, but the destination is there. I know that God has brought people into my life that have helped guide me along this road. Yes, I have had road bumps along the way and I am sure they will continue, but God is the grace and mercy I need. He provides what we need, not what we think we want.
Don't be afraid to take the path less traveled by. Don't be afraid to do the things that others aren't doing, because only then will you see the truth that God has for you. Life is a choice, will you live for yourself, or will you live for God?
