Miracles (God is Faithful and never Failing)

This song has touched me today, because what we see isn't what God sees, we are our worst critics. God wants us to see not what we did, but who He is making us each and every single moment. He continues to change us. He is forever faithful, even when we are going through a storm, He is saying I am here, focus on me not on the storm. Isn't it time to focus on Him, He will carry you through. He loves us so much. He says look at what He has done in our lives, but we are focused on everything else, it is easy to miss the amazing changes that God has done and is doing. We are in a rush to get someone where, but what happened to enjoying the journey. God is mending us, changing us from glory to glory. His way is higher than our way, trust Him, He is faithful.

For me, it is easy to see my past and think of how broken I am, but through that brokenness God is with me repairing me, teaching me and loving me. God is not finished with me yet, He is shaping me and molding me into what He wants me to be. The pressures of the world try to break that, but God is faithful, He is with me through it all. Just like He is with you.

Mended
Matt West
How many times can one heart break?
It was never supposed to be this way
Look in the mirror, but you find someone you never thought you'd be
Oh, but I can still recognize
The one I love in your tear stained eyes
I know you might not see him now, so lift your eyes to me
When you see broken beyond repair
I see healing beyond belief
When you see too far gone
I see one step away from home
When you see nothing but damaged goods
I see something good in the making
I'm not finished yet
When you see wounded, I see mended
You see your worst mistake
But I see the price I paid
There's nothing you could ever do, to lose what grace has won
So hold on, it's not the end
No, this is where love's work begins
I'm making all things new
And I will make a miracle of you
When you see broken beyond repair
I see healing beyond belief
When you see too far gone
I see one step away from home
When you see nothing but damaged goods
I see something good in the making
I'm not finished yet
When you see wounded, I see mended
I see my child, my beloved
The new creation you're becoming
You see the scars from when you fell
But I see the stories they will tell
You see worthless, I see priceless
You see pain, but I see a purpose
You see unworthy, undeserving
But I see you through eyes of mercy
When you see broken beyond repair
I see healing beyond belief
You're not too far gone
You're one step away from home
When you see nothing but damaged goods
I see something good in the making
I'm not finished yet, no
When you see wounded, I see mended
Ooh, I see mended
Woah, oh I see mended
I'm not finished yet
When you see wounded, I see mended

How To Save Your Husband (Steven Furtick)

This message is a very good one, the series I have been listening to is Marry or Burn, this Pastor has some very good points about marriage and even singleness. He has covered so much, I want to encourage anyone to listen to him.

Passion dies when debtors become collectors.

3 Habits of a Healthy Heart (Steven Furtick)

This is a very good message, it is about the change of our hearts. How it is not just a one time thing, but a daily choice. It is so worth the 30 minutes.

God is so good, He is faithful. The road from the head to the heart may be only 14 inches, but it is the longest road traveled.

Fear

Fear is an inability to do something, because we are afraid of a result. How many times have we been afraid to do something, fearful to do something, because we have already thought of what will happen.

I think that happens more time then we realize. We chose not to do something, because we think we know how others will react, or what they will do, instead of having faith. Faith can move mountains, but lack of faith can hold us back from walking where God wants us to walk. No one knows how someone will react, but how many times do we assume we know that someone will react a certain way and then we stop, we will not do it, because we are fearful of their reaction a reaction we don't even know.

Can you read people's thoughts? Can you tell what they are going to do? No, there isn't anyone that knows that, but if we do not try, we are playing right into the enemies hands. We are doing just what he wants us to do and that is nothing. If God says it I believe it, there has to be a choice that we make each day, He said that anything is possible with Him and that goes to how we deal with fear, do we run, do we give up or do we take hold and say anything is possible with God. Do you really believe that? Do I really believe that? When does it stop being something we tell ourselves in hopes that we will believe it and then start being just what we do and walk in the belief? I think God wants us to have faith that will move mountains.

I remember a story in the Bible about a paralyzed man, he was that way from the point he was born. He believed that Jesus was real, He saw and heard the truth and when Paul said to him, I see your faith, get up and walk and the man did just that. How many times are we paralyzed with fear and that fear holds us back from doing the very thing that God has called us to do and that is stand up and walk. Have a little faith, don't let fear cripple you. When God calls us, it is our responsibility to walk by faith, not by sight. We may think we know, but God knows better.

What area's in your life are gripping you and causing you not to follow what God is calling you to? Today take a chance and walk by faith. If you are married, walk by faith, not by sight. If you are single, walk by faith and not by sight. Our vision can cause confusion, but God can bring clarity. Seek Him first.

New Creation

Recently someone said what kind of impact can I have on someones life, because of where I have walked. I have been divorced, I have walked outside of God's covering for my life. I have done my own thing. I broke God's law by getting a divorce and more, what kind of impact can I have on peoples lives, what kind of testimony can I have. There is nothing that I have that other people want, I can't help others, no one can learn from me.

I have thought about that statement for sometime now, because all of it is true, up to the point that I can't help other people. See the real truth of the matter is, I have been places other people have walked. I am divorced and other people are divorced too. I have been through a lot of hard things and so have other people. My testimony is that Jesus does save, He does forgive and I am a new creation, because He washed my slate clean. I confessed my sins, I have been forgiven and today I walk in freedom because of Jesus. Yes, people may look at the past I lived, but they also need to look at who I am today, because of what Jesus has done in my life.

The enemy can tell us lies, that we are not worth it, because of our past, but Jesus says we are worth it, because He has made us new. My sins have been washed clean, my slate is white as snow, because Jesus is real and alive today in me.

Remember this, when people tell you that you are not a witness because of your past, remember your past is what makes you an even better witness, because you have walked through the same things that others have and are. Today you walk in freedom, because of Jesus Christ.

Look at Paul's life, he was Saul, he killed Christians, he was a bad man before Jesus got a hold of him. Jesus changed him and we learn from his writing today. So the next time someone says to you that you can't be a witness because of your past, remember Paul and so many others. God has a reason for everything and today I share my story, who knows who it will impact, but God. His ways are greater than my ways.
