Remember that God will lead you through the rocks through the hard places. The more I may focus on the rocks the bigger the rocks seem to get. God wants us to allow Him to lead. He is the lighthouse directing us when rough seas come, when the rocks seem like they are going to wreck our ship.

God will be glorious through it all. Hard times come, but do not have to take control. God is in control and the more you surrender the more He will lead. Don't give up.

As I sat at work, this song just came to mind and I wanted to share it with you. We may not know what tomorrow will bring, but today is all we have, let s just rest in the peace that God has given us. He holds our future in His hands and He knows what tomorrow will hold for us. Worry about today, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Enjoy the blessings that God has given you today, be thankful for the trials that He has brought you, for they are making you a new person. Be thankful in all things, not just the good, but in ALL, easier said then done, but try it the results are out of this world.

The Lord is great and greatly to be praised. What we do in life is up to us, but the more we press into God and allow Him to change our perspective the closer we become to what He wants us to be. The more we are able to start each day with a song, with a prayer for the day. If we see all that bad that surrounds us, we miss what God is working on in our life. Change the way you see things, instead of looking to blame others, start looking inward and see what God is showing you. I don't know about you, but it is easy to react and much hard to say you are right, I was wrong. Isn't it time to start standing and being accounted, instead of looking to others to blame?

We are a reactionary people, if someone reacts it is so easy to react back and soon it is a huge fight and what is the fight about? It is about how the other hurt us with words instead of what it was initially about. It becomes hurtful and things are said out of hurt. Instead of reacting, take a step back and disarm the situation, take a minute and then come back, take 5 minutes and don't say things out of hurt, because that is venom and cuts like a knife. The bible talks about how words hurt, how sometimes they are sharper then a double edge blade, take a moment and ask God to guard your tongue. Change doesn't start by trying to change someone else, but changing you.

Monday Thoughts

Trust starts with trusting, just the same way that we learn by doing, if we learn to be bad by doing, we continue to learn that role in our lives, but if we turn it around then we are able to stand strong, to allow God. We have to allow God, it has to be His way and not mine, and it has to be His will and not my own. It has to be about God and not about myself, the sooner we learn that, the sooner we are able to allow Him to take the lead. It is total trust in the one that made us, not just on the easy things, but on all things. We have to be willing to surrender everything to Him, it can’t be just what I want, but in every case what God wants. We can’t second guess God otherwise we second guess where we are at and that gets us to doubting and that is when failure take hold. It isn't about my will, but God’s will. It isn't about what I want, but what God wants. It isn't about mirroring others actions, but mirroring God’s love and being the person God calls us to be, if we aren't willing to mirror God, how then are we able to shine His light? Not through our actions on our own, we will surely fail, but if we allow God He will guide us and allow us to grow and to change, but if we continue to say my way, we will not learn or grow, we will stay right where we are at, because we are stubborn.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results. If we are failing to grow and to change, well look in the mirror are you doing the same thing over and over again hoping that something will change? Change starts with you, are you willing to allow God to change you are you willing to trust Him no matter what? If you are, then do it and stop being insane expecting things to happen differently. God will change you, but you have to trust Him, you have to see what He is doing and trust Him completely, not just 99%, but all the way, if you are unable to trust Him then you must ask yourself why?

Change starts with you, what are you willing to do?
