Song of the Day and My Thoughts

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Song that I was singing when I woke up this morning.

"Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)"

You call me out upon the waters
The great unknown where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery
In oceans deep
My faith will stand

And I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine

Your grace abounds in deepest waters
Your sovereign hand
Will be my guide
Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You've never failed and You won't start now

So I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine

[6x]
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior

Oh, Jesus, you're my God!

I will call upon Your name
Keep my eyes above the waves
My soul will rest in Your embrace
I am Yours and You are mine

The Lord is great and greatly to be praised. What we do in life is up to us, but the more we press into God and allow Him to change our perspective the closer we become to what He wants us to be. The more we are able to start each day with a song, with a prayer for the day. If we see all that bad that surrounds us, we miss what God is working on in our life. Change the way you see things, instead of looking to blame others, start looking inward and see what God is showing you. I don't know about you, but it is easy to react and much hard to say you are right, I was wrong. Isn't it time to start standing and being accounted, instead of looking to others to blame?

We are a reactionary people, if someone reacts it is so easy to react back and soon it is a huge fight and what is the fight about? It is about how the other hurt us with words instead of what it was initially about. It becomes hurtful and things are said out of hurt. Instead of reacting, take a step back and disarm the situation, take a minute and then come back, take 5 minutes and don't say things out of hurt, because that is venom and cuts like a knife. The bible talks about how words hurt, how sometimes they are sharper then a double edge blade, take a moment and ask God to guard your tongue. Change doesn't start by trying to change someone else, but changing you.
