More of Jesus, Less of Us

I have found over and over again that the more we focus on God the more clear things become here on earth. Are you struggling, what are you focusing on? Are you looking at the struggles and seeing that there is no way? Well, then you need to stop looking at the storms around you and focus on the answer.

I know easier said then done, because the lightening crashes all around, our focus is taken from God back onto the storm of life, but the more you see God's hands just going before us, the more our focus can change back to Him.

Take living a life focused on the negatives of the world. Each day you get up and dread the day, you think of all the bad stuff that will happen in that day. First I have to get out of bed and then get ready and rush to work, then work and then all the stuff after work. Instead of focus on all of that, start your day off by focusing on the one that created us. Thank you Lord for giving me another day to live, let me live it according to your will. You see how instead of focusing on you, you change it to see Jesus in the day.

My suggestion is start off with one thing first each week. Conquer one struggle at a time and thank God for giving you the courage to do so. He has given us strength, peace, patience, kindness, goodness and more, but we need to practice the art of what He has for us. Today start off with one thing, so if mornings are a struggle just see the beauty of God in today. Thank Him for who He is, thank Him for loving you, thank Him for giving you a new day.

Next week, start praying on your way to work. Start by thanking Him for your job. Really honestly who really likes there job? I am sure there are some, but it is a job and when we do not focus on it such as a waste of time but a time to shine God's love on a dark place our prospective changes.

It is all a process and each week take on a new task, but you have to be intentional otherwise the world will swallow you up again. If we do not intentionally meet with God, then how can we think that He is not helping us. It is our choice, make each choice count, because Jesus has bought you with a price, His life for your salvation. Isn't it time to pull out of our darkness that we have created and focus on Him?

He is your savior, He is the hope, He is the light in the darkness, He is the only way.

You have lived your life your way and how is it going for you? Isn't it time for a change?
