Thought for today July 2, 2014

As I woke up this morning this verse of scripture came to mind. Psalm 23:4 "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." We are go to dark places and places in which we do not have peace. Even though it is a dark place, God is with us. In Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." He will not leave us nor forsake us. He is our comfort in the time of need.

God has gone before us, He is with us and today as the war wages around you, remember that God is with you. That He does not leave or forsake you, He is always with you. He brings comfort to us and He wants to teach us in those hard places.

As I wrote this blog, a song came to mind and it is:

Today, remember in all you do, in all you so that God is with you. For He is thy stronghold. I conclude with this verse.

Psalm 144:2 "He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me."
