I woke up tonight and I was singing a song. I am never sure what wakes me up, but I try and just ask God who I should pray for during the time I am awake.. I don't always succeed at praying because I get caught thinking about all the sleep I am missing. But then after I wake up in the morning I wish I had prayed instead of thinking about poor me.
Tonight as I woke up, I started down the road of poor me and I got off the ride. I just sensed I needed to write down what I was going through. And put this song down.
Crown Him With Many Crowns
Crown Him with many crowns,
The Lamb upon His throne;
Hark! How the heav’nly anthem drowns
All music but its own!
Awake, my soul and sing
Of Him Who died for thee,
And hail Him as thy matchless King
Through all eternity.
The Lamb upon His throne;
Hark! How the heav’nly anthem drowns
All music but its own!
Awake, my soul and sing
Of Him Who died for thee,
And hail Him as thy matchless King
Through all eternity.
Crown Him the Lord of love!
Behold His hands and side—
Rich wounds, yet visible above,
In beauty glorified.
No angel in the sky
Can fully bear that sight,
But downward bends His wond’ring eye
At mysteries so bright.
Behold His hands and side—
Rich wounds, yet visible above,
In beauty glorified.
No angel in the sky
Can fully bear that sight,
But downward bends His wond’ring eye
At mysteries so bright.
Crown Him the Lord of life!
Who triumphed o’er the grave,
Who rose victorious in the strife
For those He came to save.
His glories now we sing,
Who died, and rose on high,
Who died eternal life to bring,
And lives that death may die.
Who triumphed o’er the grave,
Who rose victorious in the strife
For those He came to save.
His glories now we sing,
Who died, and rose on high,
Who died eternal life to bring,
And lives that death may die.
Crown Him the Lord of heav’n!
One with the Father known,
One with the Spirit through Him giv’n
From yonder glorious throne,
To Thee be endless praise,
For Thou for us hast died;
Be Thou, O Lord, through endless days
Adored and magnified.
One with the Father known,
One with the Spirit through Him giv’n
From yonder glorious throne,
To Thee be endless praise,
For Thou for us hast died;
Be Thou, O Lord, through endless days
Adored and magnified.
When tough times come, remember that God is with you. He has come to set you free. He has conquered death and has brought you life. He rules victorious and is with you every moment. He chose you from the foundations of the earth, He knew your bad days and good and He has given us hope for more, for even in the bad we are to thank Him. When we stop looking inward and start looking upward we are then allowing God.
Make a choice today to allow God to order your steps. We see what happens when we do it, now do it His way.
