Confrontation

Yesterday I was in line at church to catch the shuttle to go to the other building. One could walk, but there is a sign up that crosses one of the road that reads No Pedestrian, or something like that. Well the couple behind me was debating whether to walk that way or not and I asked them what kind of an example that would be setting for those around us if we were to walk across the road. Well to say the least, me not being very tactful and I did not probably word it the best and the reaction I got was something I was not expecting. They wanted to argue the point with me and I realized just how important it is to state what we mean and stick with it.

I failed to say it right, but looking back at it helps me to learn from my mistakes. Yes I may have fallen, but it is how I stand back up and learn from how I handled it. I believe that if I saw them again I would apologize for how I handled it and ask there forgiveness, because not only can we do confrontation right, we can learn from it and grow from it.

I believe we all can learn from life, or we can just ignore our mistakes and remake them over and over again. I have made many mistakes repeatedly, but I wonder if I would have if I would have learned what God was teaching me the first time.

If you feel like you are repeating things over and over again, maybe it is time to learn from past mistakes and so you can move forward instead of going around the same mountain again. God will teach you, just be willing to hear the answer. It is hard, but it is so worth it. I don't know about you, but seeing the same mistakes in different circumstances gets pretty tiring after awhile. Learn and grow from your mistakes, we all make them and it helps to admit them. It isn't easy, but so worth it.
