Jesus died on the cross because He loved me so much, can you imagine choosing to die because you loved so much? He knew all the sins I would commit, but still He died for me, He knew that it would take me over 40 years to understand what true love really is and He knew that all and He still loved me so much He died on the cross for my sins. What an incredible example of the word LOVE.
How much do you say you love the one you are with? I have found that Love is so much greater then any 4 letter word. Jesus loves me unconditionally, He always has and He always will. He came to this world to teach us and then to save us from our sins. He made the choice to die and carry our burden, it was a choice, it was His choice. What a true example of a man, He was born into a human body, He walked and experience life and then He experienced the ultimate death, not only did He die on the cross for our sins, but God turned His back on Him, "My God, My God, Why have you forsaken me?" He bore our sins, He carried our weight, because He loves us that much.
Today do you have anyone you say you love? I know I do and I want my love to be not just a action, not just a word to say, but I want it to be so much more. It isn't just a 4 letter word, it is a choice to walk with that person, to love them unconditionally, to be there for them and to allow them to be there for me. It isn't about loving them more, but about loving God so much that the love I have for the people I say I love will just be radiant and obvious to those around me and for the people I say I love you too. Love comes to be something much greater then a feeling, it is a choice.
If you have off days, or days you do not feel like doing things, you will then allow love to be a choice to chose to love because that is what Jesus did for us. What an example for those around, what a witness and what a way to show love has no barriers, humans are the only ones that create barriers. Are you willing to love Jesus more? And by loving Jesus more you will be able to love those around you unconditionally. Isn't it time to love God's way? Your choice, just like Jesus had a choice.
