Last night I was wrapping gifts, but as I was wrapping them, I was thinking back about my life and where I am now. I was thinking about how things have been. I will explain a little bit.
Galatians 6:7 (KJV)
"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
I lived my life a certain way, not thinking of anyone, but myself. I didn't think how my actions would affect others, I didn't live the very true bible verse Matthew 7:12 (NIV)"So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets." I didn't say that, it is in the Bible. God gave us His word as a gift, it is a light to show us the way. Are we willing to learn from it?
My life was full of myself, I was entangled with doing things for me and in that I paid the price, I didn't reap anything, but being alone, pain and hurt. I brought it on myself with the way I conducted myself, it is no one fault but my own.
Today I thank God for the gift of His grace, because I am here before you a new man. He saved me from how I once was, how it was all about me, what I wanted and has changed me. I am so thankful that I am here today with a new chance to do life right, to do marriage right, to love the way Jesus has taught me to love, to teach and to grow. He gave me a gift when He sent His son Jesus here to earth to be born, to walk as we walk and then to die for my sins, so that I may find freedom in Him, so that I may be able to be the man I am today. He didn't just come for me, He came for you too, what are you sowing? How are you treating others?
