Words to Songs

When I sit or stand worshiping God in church they put the music that we are singing up on a screen and so I know what words come next. I sing the songs, but do I really know what I am singing? Have I ever thought to consider the words and really just let them dwell in me. Maybe it is just me and others know the words to the songs and know exactly what they are singing, but there was a song yesterday that really ministered to me as I sang it and I wanted to share it with you.

My Comment: We surrender all to Him, that means His will be done in our lives, each day, every moment, He is in control and we are giving it to Him, not just during the song, but in our lives. We are worshiping Him for the great and marvelous God He is and we are saying we trust you and your will in us.

My thoughts: Have you ever stopped to really think about the words you are singing? Today I urge you to think about the music that is coming from your lips and really mean it, not because that is just what is being sung, but because it is your hearts desire, to worship God, to praise His holy Name. We have the greatest honor, it is truly amazing.
