Medication

We go to a medical doctor, they give us medicine to take to help us feel better, help us live longer and etc. we take those kinds of pills without thinking. We do what they recommend, because we want to feel better. We take them, because this doctor knows what we need. We generally do not question them much at all, we do it, we feel better and we move on with life.

However, in our Christian lives, we question the will of God daily. We question where He has us, we think we know better then God. He is the Grand Physician and He has given us a pill to take daily, He has told us how to live life the correct way, but yet we want to live it our way. The doctors of the world may have knowledge, but they do not have the knowledge of God, yet we question Him. He has told us how to live our lives, but yet we don't do it and we struggle in life daily, because we think we know better, but it is all lies, we do not know better, He does.

There is great power in prayer, it takes the power out of our hands and gives it to God. He taught the disciples to pray, Lord your will be done.

He says Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind. This makes living not about ourselves, but about God.

He says pray without ceasing, just having a mindset of prayer. Focus effort to keep our mind on Him. He is right there with us all the time, but yet we struggle to call out to Him for Help, for thanksgiving, for anything.

He says seek Him first, do we? It can't be about what I want, but what He wants. It isn't me, it is Him in me.

There are examples about how marriage should be, but we think our way is better, but He has shown us time and time again that His way is the best way, but yet we try to do it our own way.

Christ Jesus knows the best way, we need to seek Him first and let Him show us that way. We need to take our daily pill, not just once but throughout the day. Are we getting into the word? Are we taking the time to study it, to learn what Jesus wants of us? Today is a new day, let us rejoice and be glad in it, let us praise God for a new day that He has given us and start today differently.

Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding”

Lord, I thank you for the chance to learn to take Your medicine. Let me put You first before everything else, let me seek You. Guide my heart, convict me of my wrongs, teach me Your right ways, help me to walk in it no matter how difficult it may be. Lord you are my strength, my refuge, let me seek You, lean on You, rely on You. Not my strength, not my will, but Yours Father. Thank You for a new day to do it Your way, let me walk in it with Joy in my heart. I love you Lord and I lift my voice to You. Help me to seek You in all I do. Thank you for this new day. Lord I praise You with my words and actions. Thank you Jesus for dying for me, thank You for choosing me. I love you Lord.
