Our lives can be greater then what we thought possible. We look at the externals of people. It is easy to judge people based on what we see, but what is unconditional love. It is not looking at the past it is seeing the love that God has for each one of us. Even the ones that have turned there backs on Him.
How many of us have tried to change on our own? What happens? We fall back, we turn our eyes to the problem once again and we stumble and fall. But what if the only true way to change is putting a God first in our lives. We lay down what we want for what He wants. In our marriages, in our relationships, with our kids, we put aside what we want and we follow Gods plan.
Do you want to change? Stop making change about yourself and see that God is the only way to change. He doesn't change, but we do. Bad things happen not to break us, but to teach us. What have you learned from the bad? I know for me it has taken me many times to learn this very thing. I couldn't change without God.
He loved me so much, that He knew all the wrongs I would do, but He still sent His son to die on the cross for me, for my sins. He still loves me. I looked at things wrong for so long, I put things in boxes, but God has called me to complete surrender. Not my way but His, not my marriage, but His. Not my son, but His. Not my job, but Gods. And when we look at it that way it makes me see I want to do what He has called me to. It isn't about what I want (a very big struggle for me) but it is about what God wants.
What does He want from you? Stop running and know that He loves you even though you may Have done wrong, He still loves you. I am blessed to have a life and to have God show me it may not be what I thought, but He has a plan even in the absence of all, to make what is impossible to us, possible because He is God.
