Busy, busy, busy

Well as I have said many times before, once you state something publicly, you will be tested. This week has been a test for me for sure. I talked about trusting God in all area's, not just in some of them. This week has been a test to me. Bad things do happen, does it mean I am bad? No, I don't believe that, but I believe that I will be stretched. It teaches me to dig in and prepare for the unthinkable. It doesn't mean that I am going anywhere, just means that I need to focus on God even more.

It says trust in Him in all things and that means all things. Not just one thing, not the easy things, it means all things. When things don't seem to be going right, don't blame God, thank Him for the struggles and praise Him for the storms, because in the storms we are able to grow, we are able to sink our roots in deeper. Or you can do the opposite and blame God and be angry. I say what does that prove? Nothing.

It isn't about growing upward in the storms, it is about growing our roots deeper, sinking them into our faith, into what we believe. Become grounded each day in the word and let it minister to you. Do not be afraid for He is God. In due time the light will shine again and what it shows is a tree that has grown in God, not been affected by the storms. Praise Him in the storms, thank Him for the storms and see the fruit that is bore for it will be great.

The other side of it is that you can grumble, complain and reject the teachings. But that gets us nowhere. Time to grow from the storms. Time to see what God has for you today, even in the storms He has something greater then you can imagine. Praise Him, thank Him and except the storm to help you grow.

Have a wonderful Thursday.
