The Geoff challenge

What is the prize for you? Is it a new car? Is it the next great thing in your life?

We are to long for the return of Jesus Christ, we are to hunger and thirst for His quenching water, when we try and do it on our own, we are lost and we feel disconnected from Him. In the bible it says pray without ceasing. By taking time out of our busy day to pray are we truly focused on Him, or is it just in that moment?

I want to challenge you today. Are you ready for the Geoff challenge? I will be doing this challenge too, because I think it is important to try it Gods way, we already know what our way does.

The Geoff challenge:
Every spare moment, a moment in the bathroom, a moment when the computer is warming up, a car ride, a quiet moment in the office, take that moment to pray. Allow God to work in you, because as He works a deeper walk in you, He will provide ways to work through you. It takes a step to say Lord it is your will, your way and in those time take them. Enjoy your time with the Lord today. It is a challenge, because after the day is done, look back and think about how many times you prayed, think of how many things you said to God. As the sun comes up, thank God for the sun, it is when we focus not on ourselves, that He continues to grow in us. Even with the storms you face today, thank God for the storms, thank Him in the struggles, thank Him in all you do, for He is the only way to get through them.

Pray without ceasing, each moment thank God for something, pray for someone, be intentional in your prayers, pray for each person that walks in your office. It is brief, Lord be with John, or bless Beth, the more you pray, the more you will feel a live. Try it Gods way and see what the day brings.
